INNOFORM AIMS FOR REGIONAL GROWTH 18 MARCH 2010, SINGAPORE- InnoForm Group of Companies (InnoForm) today announced their regional growth plans with new investments from Linktone Ltd (Nasdaq listed, based in Shanghai) and MNC International Ltd (MNC). Linktone Ltd is majority owned by MNC, a public-listed media company based in Indonesia. The strategic partnerships with Linktone and MNC will propel InnoForm launch into their next phase of growth. This would include increasing investment in the areas of local and international production of movies; and digital solutions in the areas of Video-on-Demand, Internet Portal Television and paid TV channels. When asked about the details of InnoForm’s plans, founder, Mr Ang Choon Beng, shared, “Apart from the financial investment from Linktone, the partnership is very strategic as there are clear synergies in the businesses of InnoForm and MNC, which is a media giant in Indonesia. Looking forward, we are very excited and see great market opportunity especially in the area of digital media distribution. We hope to grow both organically and through acquisitions and target to grow our revenue to S$100 million within the next 3 years from both Singapore and the region.” In 2010 alone, InnoForm is committed to produce at least 3 local movies, for which the company already has selected scripts and is currently in negotiation to launch the projects. The estimated investment into each movie is about S$1 million. InnoForm aims to distribute more blockbuster movies in Singapore. The highly anticipated movies includes Kick Ass ( starring Nicholas Cage) scheduled for release in April, The Expendables (starring veteran action actors including Sylvestor Stallone , Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren and Jet Li ) scheduled for release in August and King of Fighters (starring Maggie Q) scheduled for release in the last quarter amongst others. In the area of Video-on-Demand, InnoForm recently launched a Karaoke-on-demand channel on the Starhub network in January 2010. The service was very well-received by the Singapore audience. InnoForm has plans to launch such similar products in the region. InnoForm also intends to grow in its core businesses including development, acquisition and distribution of theatrical and home video products. Our range of products include films, dramas and children edutainment products. Plans have also been made to provide these content via the digital platform in the near future.
